Materials

  • PA12 Material by Evonik

Nylon based material known for high strength, durability, and chemical resistance. Great for applications where strength, durability and precision are essential like automotive, aerospace, and consumer goods.

  • PA12 Smooth Material by Arkema

Significantly improves the smoothness and feel of the standard PA12 material with reduced roughness of up to 70%. Parts printed in PA12 Smooth material, particularly when vapor smoothed or powder coated provide the best smoothness to strength value in additive manufacturing. PA12 Smooth is slightly less tough and strong compared to the PA12 Evonik material by ~5-10%.
